The Wanted Call Justin Bieber A “Humble, Appreciative” Person

Despite what Justin Bieber haters might think, new boyband The Wanted – who’ve supported the 17-year-old singer on a number of tour dates – have praised him for how little of an ego he actually has.

According to member Max George, recent reports that Justin’s become arrogant and even started to ignore fans, can’t be true – because Bieber isn’t the type of person to “think he’s God”, and is completely grateful for the fortunate position he’s in.

Asked by MTV if Justin had given them any advice on fame and performance, Max replied: “He’s not someone that really gives advice. I think he’s too humble for that, in that way.

“I think he just appreciates what happens to him rather than thinks he’s God,” he added, “So, I mean, we don’t really talk music. When we speak to him, it’s more we talk about football or basketball.”

Bandmate Jay McGuiness added that it would be pointless for Justin to give them advice – just as it would be for The Wanted to give him any tips, because they’re two completely different acts.

“I think he knows that we know how to do what we want to do – in the same way that we could never tell him how to do what he does,” he explained, adding: “Because he does it a lot better than we ever could.”
