True to life diva Kim Kardashian has a new job – a recurring role on TV series Drop Dead Diva.
The curvalicious star is used to her reality shows but will be taking on a more serious acting position when she joins season four of the comedy-drama.
Kardashian will be seen playing the role of Nikki – a love interest for Fred (Ben Feldman) – who also goes into business with Fred’s ex, Stacy (April Bowlby).
Clearly Kimmy is thrilled judging from her comments on her official blog. She wrote: “I am so excited to announce that I’ll be guest starring on Drop Dead Diva this summer. I can’t wait to get to work with everyone on set!”
Creator and executive producer, Josh Berman, is also thrilled she’s on board. “I’m ecstatic to welcome Kim to the Diva family,” he shared.
“In discussing the role of Nikki with her, I’m blown away by her smarts, sense of humor, and passion. This series is all about reinvention and I’m so excited to see Kim ‘reinvented’ in the world of Drop Dead Diva.”
It’s not the first acting role for Kim (and no, we don’t mean Keeping up with The Kardashians!), she previously featured in Disaster Movie, CSI: NY, Deep in the Valley and Beyond the Break.
Kardashian also appears in the Tyler Perry movie The Marriage Counselor and has an upcoming cameo on Tim Allen’s Last Man Standing sitcom next month.
