Poor Kimmy K hasn’t had the best time these past few months, what with divorcing hubby Kris Humphries after just 72 days of being his wife. But the reality star has also had to take a lot of heat from some angry fans and critics, when news of their split made headlines.
And Kim admits it was a big shock becoming so hated overnight, telling Kelly Ripa: “I really didn’t think that following my heart would create this much backlash.”
The Kourtney and Kim Take New York star co-hosted Live! With Kelly this week and also denied she married Humphries purely for publicity and money.
She explained to Ripa: “I think me being such a hopeless romantic I wanted to believe in something so badly.
“If this was a business decision and I really made all that money that everyone claimed we made from the wedding and it was just for TV, I’m a smart businesswoman, I would have stayed married longer.
“This is a bad business decision, do you know what I mean? If you really think about it it doesn’t make sense that everyone says that.”
