Earlier this week Never Say Never singer Justin Bieber angered some of his French Beliebers, when he was accused of ignoring his fans as they waited for him at an airport in France.
A video emerged online a few days ago, which shows the teen star running past his adoring fans – without even stopping to pose for pictures.
Explaining why he snubbed them, Justin now claims it was because paparazzi were waiting for him and he was just trying to avoid being photographed.
“I want to clear something up that is important to me,” the 17-year-old wrote on his Twitter page. “The other day in the airport I got surrounded by 20 paps. I don’t like small spaces and I just wanted to get on the plane.
“I ran to get thru the gate and there is a video of me running by fans and on the other side you don’t see the 20 paps. I would never run by my fans and for those that i did pass that day I AM SORRY.”
Bieber continued: “I know my fans are my everything. I know my responsibility to them. I LOVE MY BELIEBERS.
“So as I get older I know I will learn to deal with these things better and better just still learning. still human. just had to get that out,” he added.
