Demi Lovato is putting her fame to good use, by helping out a charity for homeless teenagers.
The Skyscraper starlet is backing the 2012 Teens For Jeans campaign, which asks people to hand over their used jeans at their local Aeropostale – which will then be donated to local shelters.
And for the school which donates the most pairs of jeans, a $5,000 prize will be awarded – as well as Aeropostale pants for all students.
Demi appears in this new video for the campaign, in which she tells fans: “I’m donating my jeans. Clean out your closet and donate yours too!”
