Harry Potter fans can breath a sigh of relief – it turns out leading stars Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint are actually good friends in real life after all.
Radcliffe has cleared-up the comments he made last week, which appeared to say he rarely talks to his on-screen co-star in the hit Wizard franchise, when they aren’t working together.
At the time, the Woman in Black actor revealed that the pair “never text each other” and “never see each other,” but Daniel now insists they are still close friends.
During an interview on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show this week, he explained to listeners: “We have never texted each other in 10 years of filming… We are lazy texters… and we both know that’s how the other person is.
“But I know that the next time I see Rupert we will sit down next to each other and chat and it’ll be like old times. It’ll be fantastic.”
Daniel added: “If any fans heard that and got upset or it was distressing… me and Rupert are very, very good friends; it’s just that we’re not constantly texting each other.”
