Daniel Radcliffe admits he’s much happier since going sober and says his relationship with his parents is back on track.
Last year, the Harry Potter star confessed that he struggled with a drinking problem, and that since his teens, he had to rely on getting drunk to gain confidence and to have a good time.
Now the 22-year-old has stopped drinking alcohol altogether and says his parents no longer have to worry about him hitting the bottle and risking his health and career.
“It’s lovely. I barely think about it, and I’ve got the most fantastic relationship back with my parents because they were worried about me,” Daniel told the Telegraph.
“They found it hard to talk to me because they were so frightened.”
