Dakota Fanning could be starring in a new movie if negotiations go to plan.
The actress is currently in talks to feature in Very Good Girls and if she gets the job, the 17-year-old will start filming in New York City this June, alongside Anton Yelchin and Elizabeth Olson.
Very Good Girls is about two BFFs who decide to lose their virginity before they graduate from high school – but unfortunately, both girls fall for the same guy.
Director Naomi Foner said of the storyline: “The film deals with female sexuality and friendship in a way we haven’t seen before.
“These girls will be stunning young girls in a couple of years, but they’ve struggled through high school with only each other. Most of us have been there.
“This is the summer where they finally get to touch real life.”
Before then, Dakota fans can look forward to her two other movies – Now Is Good and Breaking Dawn – Part 2.
