Uh oh, Simon Cowell could suffer another blow if reports today are to be believed – as Cheryl Cole may premiere her brand new solo song on The Voice.
Cole’s BFF and manager Will.i.am is a guest coach on the BBC show and has apparently persuaded the brunette beauty to sing the single for the first time on the X Factor rival.
One loose-lipped insider told Daily Star this morning: “The BBC are desperate to beat Cowell and Britain’s Got Talent in the ratings and they know there’s no better way to do that than by getting Cheryl to perform her new single for the very first time live on the show.
“Cheryl would be a massive ratings winner and scoop for The Voice. Not only will the performance be seen by millions of people, it will also be a good way for Cheryl to stick up a cheeky one finger salute at Simon.”
The news comes days after Will.i.am hinted Cheryl won’t be returning to The X Factor this year, after Simon said he wants her back on the ITV1 contest.
