Prince Harry had a fantastic time at this weekend’s Glastonbury festival in Somerset, where he was seen partying until the early hours and dancing with supermodel Kate Moss.
The 28-year-old took a break from his Royal duties to watch bands such as headliners The Rolling Stones and Radiohead’s Thom Yorke, who DJ’d in the Shangri-La area, where Harry was seen downing drinks with pals and girlfriend Cressida Bonas.
Onlookers also saw the young Prince dancing with festival regular Kate Moss late on Saturday night (June 29) at the Rabbit Hole nightclub.
“Harry was well up for it,” one eyewitness told The Sun. “He was dancing in a grey trilby and a white t-shirt, with two security guards close by. Kate Moss was dancing right next to him.”
“Harry was getting into the spirit of the festival. He was enjoying the bars,” another festival-goer added.
Glastonbury boss Michael Eavis confirmed the Prince’s visit to the annual music extravaganza and admitted he encouraged him to make the most of the event by experiencing the festival’s nightlife – which saw Harry staying on the grounds until four a.m.
“Prince Harry was great,” Eavis told the newspaper today (July 1st), after the close of the 2013 festival. “I recommended that he go on into the night because the nightlife is what Glastonbury is all about.
“At three in the afternoon you don’t get it. I told him to get his driver to come back at five in the morning and – do you know what? He lasted until four,” he revealed.
“His friends were all having a great time. He didn’t want to make a formal thing of being here.”
