Paris Hilton has claimed that possessions aren’t the most important thing in life – which is easily said when you’re a multi-millionaire!
The 32-year-old makes a cameo in new movie ‘The Bling Ring’, which tells the true story of a group of teenagers who targeted and burgled the home celebrities (including Hilton) in the Hollywood Hills, during a robbing spree in 2008 and 2009.
But although Paris is still upset about the robbery, she knows there are worse things that could happen.
“There’s much more to life than all of these possessions and everything,” she told ELLE magazine.
The heiress of Hilton Hotels believes that if people want nice things in life, then they should work hard for them ‘just like she did’ – and not turn to a life of crime.
“If you want those things, you’re going to have to work yourself, just like I did,” she said.
The group of teens reportedly stole over $2 million of jewelry and clothes from Hilton and even attempted to steal one of her dogs. So Paris says if she ever met them, she would demand they returned her things.
“I don’t know what I’d do if I saw them,” she said. “I’m not a confrontational person. But I would literally be like, ‘You guys need serious help. And I want my stuff back.'”
‘The Bling Ring’ movie starring Emma Watson opens in the US on June 21, and in the UK on July 5.
