Kendall Jenner may have made a name for herself starring on her family’s hit show ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’, but the 17-year-old admits she doesn’t want to be one of the main stars of the E! reality series.
The model first appeared on our screens, along with her younger sister Kylie Jenner, when she was just 11-years-old. And while she’s more than used to living her life in front of the cameras, deep down it’s not something she really wants.
“I don’t know any different,” Kendall confessed, “(But) I don’t want to be a big part of the show. Neither does my little sister (Kylie), only because we want for a little while to keep our somewhat normal lives.”
While she doesn’t like the cameras so much now she’s older, Jenner does admit that being a reality star has its perks. “It’s fun. There’s so many just crazy opportunities,” she added to the New York Times.

She may have hinted that she wants to quit reality TV, but Ryan Seacrest (who is the executive producer of ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’) added to the publication that fans will still continue to see Kendall on future episodes of the show.
“The original concept was the three primary sisters,” says Ryan, “but one of the things that we’ve noticed is the viewers have connected with Kendall growing up. A coming of age story is always compelling.”
Meanwhile, Kendall has fired back at claims her parents, Bruce and Kris Jenner, are headed for divorce – as it was revealed during the season eight premiere of ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ that her dad has been living in his own beach house.
“It’s just stupid. That’s not true,” she said of the split rumor.
When asked if the stories hurt when she reads them, she replied: “I don’t feel anything about it. It doesn’t hurt me. It’s not something that gets to me. I know the truth. I live with my parents, and I know what’s going on.”
