Harry Styles Hires Military-Style Security For One Direction's US Tour

Harry Styles isn’t taking any chances with his personal safety so is upping his security when One Direction head out to America on tour in the summer.

After being hit in the groin by a shoe a fan threw during a concert in Glasgow last week, the 19-year-old has asked his managers to hire him military-style security for the US leg of the band’s Take Me Home tour.

The news comes just a day after it was revealed how One Direction star Louis Tomlinson is having a panic room installed at his room in case crazy fans break in.

“Harry Styles has demanded military-style security after a string of attacks by crazed fans,” a source told the Daily Star this morning.

“The One Direction star fears he could even become the target of a gun maniac when the band tour the US in June.”

While a friend of Styles added: “Harry is not joking, he’s taking the situation very seriously. He’s mentioned high-security cars like the ones used by military top brass, plus a convoy.”

But it’s not just 1D fans he’s wary about, the Kiss You singer also worries Taylor Swift fans want to get revenge after he split from the Trouble star earlier this year.

“He also feels there are Taylor Swift followers out there who may hold a grudge against him following their break-up,” the insider added.
