Actress Jane Levy’s movie career is quickly starting to take shape, as she has now landed a lead role in psychological thriller In A Dark Place.
The 23-year-old – who is best known for playing Tessa Altman on TV sitcom Suburgatory – has been cast as a young American governess in the upcoming film.
According to Deadline, Levy’s character will head to London to care for a doll like it’s a living human being.
In A Dark Place will be directed by Bharat Nalluri, with the screenplay being written by Stacey Menear.
Paul Brooks, Roy Lee and Jim Weddaa will handle production, with Scott Niemeyer and John Middleton named as executive producers.
Last year saw Jane featured in two films; Nobody Walks and Fun Size, alongside Victoria Justice.
2013 will also see her starring in the remake of classic horror movie Evil Dead, which is set for release April 12.
