Nicole Scherzinger Credits Lewis Hamilton For Helping Her Overcome Bulimia

Nicole Scherzinger has gushed over her boyfriend Lewis Hamilton, revealing that it was actually him who helped her beat a battle with bulimia.

The former Pussycat Dolls star has previously discussed her former eating disorder and now says it was the Formula 1 racing driver who help her overcome the problem.

“He made me feel beautiful for who I am not what pant size I’m wearing, and that helped helped a lot,” Nicole explained. “I started to embrace myself as a woman and my curves.”

Going into more detail about her past body and weight issues, Scherzy said: “I just hated myself. I really was so disgusted with myself and so embarrassed.

“I felt so alone. I was in a group but I never felt so alone in my life.

“I (made myself sick) every day for years,” she opened-up to Top of the Pops magazine. “Every time I had a second to be alone, I was doing something to myself.

“When I got off stage, I was on this high and then I’d come back to my room and be alone, so I would just do things. My bulimia was my addiction. Hurting myself was my addiction.”

Nicole is currently promoting her latest solo single Boomerang, which is taken from her upcoming second album – due out later this year.
