Ed Sheeran Says No To Justin Bieber Collaboration

Recent reports may have claimed Ed Sheeran is penning a song for Justin Bieber’s next album, but according to the singer-songwriter he has no plans to work with the 18-year-old.

Ed has become hot property in recent months, what will helping One Direction score hit songs and also working with Taylor Swift on her Red album last year.

But the A Team singer thinks writing music with Bieber just wouldn’t work out, as they’re both make solo artists.

“I don’t think a collaboration would work with Justin,” he explained to The Sun.

“I think collaborations should be done with people that can actually click. Two male singers makes it very difficult for it to work.”

Sheeran thinks the rumours may have started because he was seen talking with Justin’s manager Scooter Braun.

But it turns out he was asked to write a song for one of Scooter’s other artists, Tori Kelly, instead.

“I met Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun in New York and he said he’s got this artist I want you to write with,” revealed Ed, who will be performing live at the Grammy Awards this weekend.

“Next time I was in LA, I was doing Jimmy Kimmel’s show and he brought this girl to Kimmel and I met her straight afterwards. I then went to the studio and did a song.”
