He’s only 23, but Daniel Radcliffe knows exactly how he wants to die!
The British-born star says when his time is up he hopes he can pass away doing what he loves most – working on a movie.
“I love almost every aspect of this industry and I want to be in it,” Daniel shared about being a famous actor, “and if I could drop dead on a film set at 80, that’s how I’d want to go.”
As for leaving his most famous role of ‘Harry Potter’ behind, Radcliffe is doing a pretty good job so far, what with starring in movies like ‘The Woman in Black’ and the forthcoming ‘Kill Your Darlings’.
He says of moving on from playing the teenage wizard: “I’ve always said that it’s a long process, and in a way it may be a lifelong one.
“It’s about proving to people that I’m in this for the long haul, and that I wasn’t just looking to get as famous as I could for as long as I could and ride that out.”
He has no regrets playing Harry for so long, but Daniel admits he can’t watch his performances in any of the earlier films.
“I certainly wouldn’t watch number three, I wouldn’t watch the first two, I wouldn’t watch four. I might watch five. I definitely wouldn’t watch six,” he told Out magazine.
Thankfully, he seems pretty happy with his most recent work and doesn’t feel embarrassed watching them back.
“I’m looking at my work for the first time and not cringing,” he told the magazine. “I’m going, ‘Yes, this is closer to what I want it to be.'”
