Oscar-nominated singer Adele is said to be enjoying her new role as a mother so much that she’s already hoping to expand her family with another baby.
The broody star became a first time mom in October with partner Simon Konecki and sources close to her say she’s ready to have a second child – just four months after son Angelo was born.
According to reports, the Someone Like You singer wants a little brother or sister for Angelo as soon as possible, because she wants there to be a close age gap between them.
“Adele has been telling her friends that she is ready to try for another baby,” an insider revealed to the Daily Star newspaper today.
“She loves being a mom and wants two kids to grow two years apart.”
The friend also revealed how motherhood has made Adele re-evaluate her career, as her family now comes first.
“Her priorities have changed since meeting Simon and becoming a parent,” they explained. “She still loves her singing career but has told friends nothing compares with being a mom.
“She still loves writing and singing but her career aspirations have changed.”
Adele is currently preparing to make her live comeback at the 85th Academy Awards tonight (February 24), which will see her performing the hit James Bond theme Skyfall live.
She’s feeling so nervous ahead of the ceremony that she recently had to have hypnotherapy to overcome her stage fright.
