Movie director Quentin Tarantino is a big fan of Lady Gaga and is hoping to work with her on a new film.
The Edge of Glory singer has expressed an interest in moving into the movie industry before and will soon be making her acting debut in the forthcoming Machete Kills.
Now it looks like she could have another project in the pipeline, as Django Unchained director Quentin is keen to give her a role in one of his next movies.
“I definitely want to work with her,” Tarantino told the Daily Star, before revealing that he’s friends with the star. “We meet up about two times a year and it’s always fun.”
Explaining why he’s so keen to collaborate with Gaga, he added: “She’s a really fascinating woman.”
A source also told the newspaper: “She needs a new challenge and has set herself a target of winning an Oscar in five years.”
Gaga recently confirmed her role in Machete Kills on Twitter, which will see her playing the character La Chameleon opposite Mel Gibson, Jessica Alba and Amber Heard.
She told her Little Monsters: “Yes its true, I will be making my debut as an actress in the amazing Machete Kills by @RODRIGUEZ I’M SO EXCITED!!! AH! Filming was insane.”
Before her acting career takes off, Gaga is working on her new album ARTPOP and has written 50 songs for the record.
She’s also shooting a movie documentary with Terry Richardson.
