Next month boyband One Direction will give their first ever performance of their new single One Way or Another.
The singers recorded a cover of the Blondie classic as this year’s official Comic Relief single, with money raised from the song going to charity.
1D release the track on February 17 on iTunes and physical copies will go on sale a day later (Feb 18) at Sainsbury’s.
Then two days later, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Niall Horan will appear on stage together at the Brit Awards (Feb 20) to perform the song live for the first time.
Niall said of their new single: “We are really excited to be part of Red Nose Day this year.
“We recorded Blondie’s One Way or Another and we really want the song to raise lots of money and for people to show their support by going out and buying themselves a copy.”
His bandmate Louis added: “Getting the chance to perform Blondie’s song will be incredible. We’re so excited! Red Nose Day is a great excuse to have a lot of fun and to raise money, please get involved.”
