Lindsay Lohan has apparently turned down the chance to appear on Dancing with the Stars.
Reports say the 26-year-old was offered a huge sum to star as a contestant on the next season of the hit show, but rejected the offer.
Despite her recent cash problems, it seems the chance to earn $550,000 by competing wasn’t enough to convince the Liz & Dick actress to sign up.
Speaking to TMZ, a source told the site that Lindsay has no wish to feature on reality TV and wants to stick with her movie career.
When asked about the rumor, a representative for Dancing with the Stars refused to say whether there’s any truth to the story, simply saying: “We don’t comment on casting.”
Lohan’s financial situation has made headlines in recent months when it emerged she owed more than $200,000 in taxes.
She was given $100,000 by her Scary Movie 5 co-star Charlie Sheen but that still wasn’t enough to clear her debt completely.
Lindsay also recently moved out of her home in California with reports saying she’d been evicted due to not paying her bills.
However, her spokesperson quickly denied the claims saying: “(She) no longer lives in the LA home because she moved to New York.”
