The girls of Fifth Harmony can’t believe just how far they’ve come since they first auditioned for The X Factor last year.
The five stars of the girl band had originally signed up as solo singers, but were later put together as a group and managed to reach the finals of the contest – coming in at third place overall.
With rumors that they’re about to be signed to Simon Cowell’s record label and fans tipping them to become the new One Direction, things couldn’t be going any better for the band.
“We’re so grateful to be here,” says 5H’s Ally Brooke. “We were a newly formed group on the show. For us to have made it to the top three, it’s such a blessing.
“We’re in good spirits,” she added in a conversation with MTV News.
Her Fifth Harmony co-star Camila Cabello is also shocked by their popularity, adding, “We didn’t even expect to make it to the finals.
“The fact that we’re here is such a blessing and we’re so happy.”
X Factor judge Demi Lovato has also offered to help out the girls by recording a duet with the band for its debut record.
“I am always open to collaborations and I would like to show these girls a ‘Thank you’ and show them how much they have done for me,” she told HollywoodLife last week.
“If I can help in [an] album in any way or to collaborate since they are so down to earth girls.”
