Adele’s recent Bond theme has been such a success worldwide, that leading star Daniel Craig hopes she can sing the theme song for the next movie too.
The pregnant star recorded one of the biggest and most popular Bond themes ever for last year’s box office smash Skyfall.
Craig was so blown away by the tune that he’s now asked director Sam Mendes to invite her back for the soundtrack to the next spy thriller.
“Daniel wants to keep the winning team,” a source told the Sunday People. “He loved Adele and wants her back.”
The 007 hunk previously admitted to getting emotional when he first heard the Grammy winning singer’s theme song for Skyfall.
“I cried,” Craig confessed at the time. “From the opening bars I knew immediately, then the voice kicked in and it was exactly what I’d wanted from the beginning.”
If Adele does contribute to the new soundtrack, she’ll be the first star to record more than one Bond theme since Shirley Bassey sang songs for Goldfinger, Diamonds Are Forever and Moonraker.
