Channing Tatum On Being A Dad: I Hope I Don't Screw It Up

This summer will see Magic Mike hunk Channing Tatum becoming a dad for the first time and while he’s excited to be starting a family with wife Jenner Dewan-Tatum, he’s also a little nervous too.

“That (will) be the biggest role of my life,” confessed the 32-year-old, who was recently voted People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive.

“I hope I don’t screw that one up,” he added. “I’m really, really excited about it and I hope to slow to down a little bit when the little person comes into the world.”

After the success he’s enjoyed with Magic Mike and 21 Jump Street last year, Tatum is hot property in Hollywood right now.

Explaining why he thinks he’s become so big in the movie world in recent years, Channing credits his success to the hard work he’s put into his career.

“Look, I’ve been lucky, I’ve said it before, we work so hard on every single (movie) and you never know which ones are going to work and which ones aren’t,” he told People.

“I think it’s just, you’ve got to keep doing stories you love and characters that you love.”
