After announcing she’d quit her X Factor job recently, Britney Spears has headed into the studio to work on her latest album.
As she revealed last month, the Hold It Against Me singer says she couldn’t wait to get back to work on her music and now she’s currently recording brand new songs.
Speaking on her Twitter page, Brit told fans she’s even making a track about her two boys, Sean Preston (7) and Jayden James (6).
“I’m at the studio recording a new song for my boys,” she Tweeted her 23 million followers. “They are going to freak out when they hear it. So excited!”
As for when we’ll get to hear her new music, the newly single star added: “It’s a surprise so keep it shhhhh and don’t be grouchy. I’ll fill you all in soon ;)”
Spears is working with producer Hit-Boy on her new album, the follow-up to 2011’s Femme Fatale, as well as her close friend will.i.am – who she recently collaborated with on his hit single Scream & Shout.
It was recently reported that Spears is in talks for a huge Las Vegas residency, but some of her friends are worried she won’t be able to handle the pressure.
