Lady Gaga is to follow in the footsteps of Katy Perry and Justin Bieber by filming her own documentary film.
The currently untitled movie will document her life and also see the singer in the studio working on her new album ARTPOP – the follow-up to Born This Way.
The star announced the news on Twitter, revealing that she’s teaming up with collaborator Terry Richardson on the project.
Teasing her fans, Gaga wrote: “Merry Christmas little monsters! Terry Richardson @Terry_World is making a #LadyGagaMOVIE documenting my life, the creation of ARTPOP + you!
“Thank you for being so patient waiting for my new album ARTPOP, I hope this gets u excited for things to come. I love you with all my heart!
“I love you @Terry_World thank you for believing in me and my fans, I have looked up to you and your work for so long, it’s a dream come true!”
Gaga previously worked with Richardson on her photo book, Lady Gaga X Terry Richardson.
It’s not the only film project for the Marry The Night singer next year, as we’ll see the star making her acting debut in the forthcoming Machete Kills movie, alongside Robert Rodriguez.
