After the Royal Family officially announced she’s pregnant at the start of the week, the due date of Kate Middleton’s baby has now been revealed.
The Duchess is expecting her first child with husband William and she’s expected to give birth in July, 2013.
The date was revealed by Jessica Hay – the same close friend of Kate’s who first let slip about the pregnancy last month, before the Palace’s official announcement was made.
She told Life & Style magazine: “Catherine’s been steadily putting weight on since April this year and hasn’t been drinking for a good few months — they’ve been preparing all summer.”
Hay added: “It was decided that they’d try at the tail-end of the royal tour in September, and that’s when it happened!”
Jessica – who has known Kate since she was fourteen, as they both attended Marlborough school together – says the pregnancy is already changing the brunette beauty.
“The difference in Catherine is already tremendous,” she explained. “Her face is already fuller. She really is glowing.”
Meanwhile, the Duchess has been in hospital since Monday suffering from acute morning sickness.
