You’d think she’d be well used to it by now, but actress Claire Danes still finds it “scary” having to walk the red carpet.
The Homeland star has attended many glitzy events in her time, but finds the whole thing a nightmare – especially because people take fashion so seriously at award shows.
Claire said: “There’s something scary about the red carpet – it’s very serious. It’s a separate job from acting, but one that I’ve learned to appreciate.
“I love those images too. They’re different from a stolen paparazzi shot – everybody’s participating and it’s about fashion.”
As for her love of fashion, Danes has had a helping hand in looking glamorous at events as she is close friends with some designer – who’ve been giving her style tips.
“I know a lot of designers. I love Miuccia Prada and I’ve known Narciso Rodriguez since I was 16, he’s like my fairy godfather and gave me an education in how to be a lady!
“Zac Posen and I grew up in the same neighborhood,” she told InStyle magazine, “he’s a sweetie.”
